Gateway New Korea: Building Bridges for a United Future

Our organization has long served as a “gateway” of hope, empowering multicultural families and immigrants to become valued members of Korean society.

We work to foster inclusion and understanding through Korean language and culture education, public awareness campaigns, in-depth research, and meaningful collaboration with partners both locally and internationally.

We envision a truly "new Republic of Korea"—a nation where multicultural diversity is embraced and a shared vision for unification flourishes. As we walk this path together, the unique colors and backgrounds of each individual come together to form a vibrant and harmonious picture of unity.

Gateway New Korea is committed to moving forward, step by step, toward a future where everyone belongs.
Your interest and participation are vital to this journey.

Thank you for standing with us.

Warm regards,
Oh Hyeon-taek

Our goals

Gateway New Korea serves as a gateway to a “New Republic of Korea”—a nation where multicultural communities and a unified Korea can thrive together in harmony.

Founded with the vision of breaking down language and cultural barriers, our organization empowers immigrants and multicultural families from diverse backgrounds to become self-reliant. We are committed to building a culture of coexistence grounded in mutual respect and understanding.

What we do

1. Korean Language and Culture Education

  • We offer Korean language classes and cultural experience programs tailored to real-life situations. These programs help multicultural families and immigrants adapt to daily life in Korea with confidence and independence.

2. Multicultural Awareness and Community Engagement

  • We organize public campaigns, workshops, and community events to promote empathy, inclusion, and mutual respect. Our goal is to build a society free from prejudice where diverse identities are celebrated.

3. Research and Content Development

  • We conduct in-depth research on multiculturalism and global citizenship, producing educational content, resources, and policy proposals to foster inclusive communities.

4. Domestic and International Collaboration

  • We collaborate with government agencies, local governments, NGOs, and academic institutions to implement joint projects and strengthen global and local networks.

5. Support for Mission-Aligned Initiatives

  • To further our founding mission, we also engage in various supplementary activities, such as social contribution programs, forums, and seminars that align with our values and objectives.
